Thomas Kempson was baptised on 15th July 1781 at Totternhoe in Bedfordshire, son of Judith Kempson, formerly Sear, and her husband George Kempson, a labourer.

Thomas appears to have witnessed the marriage of his older brother George at Totternhoe in 1802. Thomas has yet to be traced after 1802.
