Facts and Events
Name Ann Goodman
Gender Female
Christening[1] 17 Dec 1790 Willen, Buckinghamshire, England

Ann Goodman was baptised on 17th December 1790 at Willen in Buckinghamshire, daughter of Elizabeth Goodman, formerly Binks, and her husband Henry Goodman. She has yet to be traced after her baptism, although it would seem likely that she died young as her parents went on to have another daughter called Ann in 1804.

    Baptisms in 1790: Ann, daughter of Henry & Elizabeth Goodman bapt[ised] Dec[embe]r 17th

    There is another entry the following year:
    "1791
    * Ann D[aughte]r of Henry & Elizabeth Goodman Feb[rua]ry 6"
    The register does not say what the asterisk means, but for each of the asterisked entries in 1791 it appears the child had already been baptised. It is therefore considered likely that the asterisked entries pertain to children who had been privately baptised previously being received into the church.
