    Albert Clyde Frakes, aged, 78, died September 17,1969 at the Host House in Charleston. He was a retired farmer and a former resident of the Steele area.

    The son of the late Grant and Mary K. Frakes, he was born February 23, 1891, at Tell City, Ind.

    He leaves four sons, Albert A. Frakes of Portland, Ore., Allie F. Frakes of Nevada, Mo., Verlin E. Frakes of Eldon, Mo., and Albert Clyde Frakes, Jr., of Buena Park, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Virginia Johnson of Eldon, Mo.; two brothers, W. T. Frakes and Ollie Frakes, both of Steele; two sisters, Mrs. Virgie Green and Mrs. Bessie Still, both of Steele; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Services were held Friday, September 19 at the Boone Chapel Church of Christ with Mr. Judson Woodbridge officiating.

    Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery at Steele with the John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge.

    Pallbearers were Elmer Lane, Clyan Larue, Olan Johnson, Eugene Kellems, Quentin Still and Boone Frakes.
