Note translated [from the 1st 2 vols.], 13.iii: It would appear that the Joseph THÉRIOT who married Madeleine BOURGEOIS was the one who belonged to Jean THÉRIOT's family, because the age that the 1777 census of Cabahannocer attributes to him corresponds to the age that Jean THÉRIOT's son would have reached by that time. Additionally, it seems altogether plausible that Joseph THÉRIOT would have married a girl from the same BOURGEOIS family as his brother Jean-Baptiste.
