The Nottinghamshire Marriage Index has recorded this marriage in two different ways, neither of which exactly agree with the England Marriages database:

m. 5 Jul 1749, Owthorpe: John Wyld & Mary Capps - Bishop's Transcripts
It looks like there have been transcription errors in both the entry from the parish registers and the Bishop's Transcripts. As John and Mary's first child was baptised in May 1749, it is considered likely that the England Marriages transcription is correct and the date should have been 5 Jul 1748. Needs to be confirmed at Nottinghamshire Record Office.
