I would like to step you through this process because you are deleting information from current pages. I'll use Herke Van Der Galien and Neeltje Grijpstra as an example. When you are on the second screen that shows each page side-by-side along with checkboxes (☐ or ☑): An empty checkbox ☐ means the data will either not be imported or will be deleted from the current page. A box that does have a check mark ☑ - the data will be included. If your data is identical to what already exists on the page - you do not need to check the box, that will cause duplicate data. If you uncheck any of the boxes on the Right hand side, that means you are deleting data from that page. This is something you don't really want to do... WeRelate's policy does not allow the creation of pages for living people due to privacy concerns (including pages for youself. You will need to delete your Person and Family pages for living people by clicking on More>Delete from the menu on the left of each page. You can use templates such as Template:Pedigree4 to connect family lines using a chart on your User page. You can see an example of this template here. [add comment] [edit] Recreation of a few of the pages you originally created [25 July 2016]Hello. I am a volunteer Admin here. Wanted to let you know that while doing maintenance a couple of your pages were recently deleted and recreated due to an error introduced into their web URL during the original creation.
It is nothing serious, but you may have received some alerts regarding the deletions. All of the information that was on the original page was moved over to the new page and all family links were preserved. You might want to visit them and add yourself as a watcher, so that you will be able to monitor them again. I am happy to answer any questions you might have about this.
