Not a problem [23 September 2012]

Hi, Lana. Not sure what I did, but you're welcome. WeRelate does take some learning, but don't hesitate to ask for help if you want it. Most people are pretty friendly.--GayelKnott 14:25, 23 September 2012 (EDT)

Name prefix and suffix [1 November 2012]

Hi Ragtimelil, I noticed that you created a few pages with Rev and Sr. in the titles. When you create a new Person page, please only put the person's Given name and Surname in the fields (omit any Rev, Jr, or Sr at this stage). Then, after the Person page has been created, you can add Rev. to the Prefix field, Jr or Sr to the suffix field, etc. Let me know if you have any questions, thank you --Jennifer (JBS66) 12:45, 1 November 2012 (EDT)

Thanks. I'm getting terribly tangled up. This is where my family history gets confusing and I ended up with three of the same person and not sure if they saved or not.--Ragtimelil 12:53, 1 November 2012 (EDT)

I saw there were a few duplicates, and merged them into Person:William Pettey (7). --Jennifer (JBS66) 13:05, 1 November 2012 (EDT)

Thanks. I think my brain is fried for now. I'll have to start again after a break.--Ragtimelil 14:30, 1 November 2012 (EDT)

Question on Thomas Petty [2 November 2012]

Hello, I received your message on my Talk Page regarding Thomas Petty. I don't have any additional information regarding his family other than what is listed (there is a link to the site that contained that information), so your best bet to find any other children is to locate his will (or his estate or land records) in Pittsylvania County. That would certainly help to prove if your Eli Petty was their son. Hope that helps, Best regards,

Jim:)--Delijim 08:27, 2 November 2012 (EDT)
