Wow !! 2021 How did it become 2021? Where did the decade go?

Life is busy, I will try to add new information as I locate it. Hope everyone in the WeRelate community is doing well.

Hello Cousins. My name is Debbie Freeman. I am glad that WeRelate exists. I have looked for something like WeRelate for some time. When I started my genealogy research I heard the advice "Talk to all of the relatives, etc." Which I did. I forget to hear the other advice "Research one family at a time".

As you see I am still researching all the ancestors. Luckily I live in the age of the personal computers, & DNA.

Like many others I am grateful to the previous generations (many now deceased) who started the research on our ancestors (genealogy) as well as the generous and caring distant cousins who are researching the same ancestors.

As a child I knew and lived close for a time to my Great Grandmother Fanny Malinda (Williams) Grove.

My father really wants me to uncover a bandit or two in the family tree. My grandmother really wanted to be related to royalty thru our English side, the Chatterton's. I have yet to locate either one.

For privacy reasons, etc I do not list other researchers (distant cousins) by name, or as sources without their permission, hopefully if they wish they can register, add their name, and enter family information. Hopefully they will. I gladly add links to other cousins web pages when requested.

Please Note: No living people are listed in the database.

Everyone was born over 100 years ago (before 1908) and they and their spouses are deceased. Some of the people now in WeRelate do not have a known date of birth or death date, but are deceased.

Ames - Our Freeman's are genetically Ames, Our ancestor changed his name to Freeman many generations ago.
