I have been doing genealogy for twenty years, but I only recently discovered WeRelate. These days my main project is the Ring family of Dutchess County, New York. I enjoy studying many different branches of an extended family, because the connections between siblings and cousins are often helpful in clarifying mysteries and filling out the stories of individuals. Over the years I have enjoyed collaborating with several gifted genealogists who work on this family and I hope to meet others in the years to come.
