Sept. of that yr. had gr. of 200 acres, was selectman 1653 and 4, but
late in that yr. convey. his est. at S. to James Chichester, on condition
that he should provide for his wid. Eunice if she outliv. him and rem. to
Huntington, L. I. had d. bef. 1660, when Eunice sued for her right in
Nov. of that yr. and in 1670 est. was div. to the heirs, wh. were all fem.
His three ds. m. respectiv. James Chichester, Edward Harnett, and Stephen
Jarvis; and the wid. Eunice m. Giles Smith of Fairfield. JOSEPH,
Salem, s. of John of the same, freem. 1665, m. 27 Jan. 1665, Ann,
eldest d. of William Hathorne, had Joseph, b. 23 Oct. foll; Ann, 5
Sept. 1667; Samuel, 4 Aug. 1693; Nathaniel, 8 Mar. 1671; Mary, 18
Dec. 1672; William, 30 Aug. 1674; Eleazer, and Abigail, tw. 23 May
1676; Hepzibah, 11 Apr. 1678; Ruth; and Mehitable; and he d. 12
Dec. 1714. His will of 15 July 1713, pro. 27 Dec. 1714, names all the
six ds. and the first four s. as liv. JOSEPH, Windsor, youngest s. of the
sec. John of the same, m. 5 Dec. 1699, Hannah, d. of Samuel Buel, had
Joseph, b. 14 Sept. 1700, d. in few mos.; Joseph, again, 20 Jan. 1702;
Mehitable, 27 June 1707; Nathaniel, 14 June 1709; Mary, 25 May
1712, d. young. NATHANIEL, Salem 1638, had liv. elsewhere, for he
was freem. 17 Apr. 1637, and is not in Felt's fine list of ch. mem.
NATHANIEL, Windsor, youngest s. of John the first of the same, and the
only one, prob. b. on this side of the ocean, in 1669 is among the freem.
of Stratford, where he m. Hannah, d. of Philip Groves, had Hannah, b.
1665; Sarah, 1667; Ruth, 1669; and Nathaniel, 1672. By sec. w.
Elizabeth sis. of his former w. he had John, b. 1674; Samuel, 1675, d. soon;
and Mary, 1677. He had good est. d. Jan. 1680, in his will naming w.
Elizabeth and the six liv. ch. NEHEMIAH, Farmington, sec. s. of the first
Daniel, m. 21 Jan. 1687, Hannah Lum, perhaps d. of John, had John,
b. 11 Jan. foll.; Mary, 16 Sept. 1689; Martha, 28 Jan. 1693; Hannah, 11
May 1694; Thomas, 25 Dec. 1697; Jonathan, 28 Apr. 1700; Samuel, 16
July 1702; Rachel, 28 Mar. 1704, bapt. 12 Jan. 1706; and Matthew, b.
1. July 1709. His w. d. 17 May 1710 and he d. 1722. RICHARD,
Weymouth, had Ruth, b. 3 Oct. 1639; was freem. 1653. RICHARD,
Waterbury, s. of the first Daniel, by w. Ruth had Daniel, b. prob. at
Farmington, but at W. had Joshua, 7 Aug. 1688; Mary, 14 Jan.
1691; Ruth, Oct. 1692; Samuel, 30 Mar. 1695; Hezekiah, 29 Jan.
1697, d. young; John, 11 June 1700; Timothy, 21 Dec. 1701; Hezekiah,
