him. Sarah m. 24 Oct. 1644, Joseph Judson, Roxbury,
freem. 5 Nov. 1633, had w. Margaret, rem. to Boston, there a supporter
of Wheelwright, and disarmed 1637, soon rem. to R. I. signed their
compact 1638, was an Assist. 1641 and aft. for some yrs. liv. at Portsmouth,
R. I. 1655 and Wickford, 1674. Haz. II. 612. He had a d.
perhaps nam. Hannah, wh. m. the sec. Samuel Wilbor. JOHN, Hingham
1635, was rep. 1644, and that yr. rem. to Salem, had Sarah, bapt.
there 5 June 1649, had many elder ch. as is shown by his will of 25
Apr. 1673, pro. 26 Sept. 1676, in 20 days aft. his d. aged 80. To his
eldest s. John, wh. had been in prison at Boston, 1665, for abuse of his
parents (whose case tak. up against the Col. by the royal commrs. that
yr. made such a stir among our people), wh. d. 16 Mar. 1684, he gave
only L150,he having wasted much (and this is not. a fifteenth part of
the f's est.); to Joseph; Benjamin, wh. d. without ch.; Samuel, wh. was
d. long bef.; and Israel; beside ds. Mary, w. of Thomas Gardner, with
her three ch. and Sarah, prob. unm. adequate provis. almost naming
Samuel's s. John. He was rep. 1668. His w. Mary surv. to 6 Feb.
1684, but whether she be that Mary, wh. join. the ch. 1639, or in 1644,

Mar. 1667; Esther, 8 May 1669; Ruth, 7 Aug. 1671; Hezekiah, 7 or 9
Nov. 1673; an Joseph, 7 Feb. 1675; of wh. all exc. Esther were liv.
at the date of his d. 2 Aug. 1688; and his wid. d. 13 Sept. foll. To
James is giv. by Parsons the honor of being agent for Conn. but he was
too young, and his uncle, the London merch. was the man. JOHN, Weymouth,
by w. Deliverance, had Mary, b. 12 Oct. 1663; Susanna, 2 June
1665; John, 12 July 1667; one, whose name is not giv. 11 Apr. 1672;
and Ruth, 18 Sept. 1675. JOHN, Windsor, eldest s. of John the sec. of
the same, freem. 1672, m. 16 Dec. 1669 (rather early in his days),
Joanna, d. of Walter Gaylord, had Joanna, b. 7 Feb. 1671; Mary, 20

Stiles, one s. and four more ds. and 1699. JOHN, Farmington, eldest s.
of Robert, was a propr. 1673, but not at d. of his f. for he d. unm. first. JOHN,
Wenham, by w. Lydia had Samuel; John, b. 21 July 1683; Benjamin;
Nehemiah; Jonathan; Lydia; Mehitable; Mary; Elizabeth; Sally; and Hannah;
was a lieut. and d. 8 Mar. 1753, yet freem. 1690. JOHN, Hadley, freem.
1690. JOHN, Farmington, s. of the first Daniel, m. 2 Jan. 1696, Rebecca, d.
of Joseph Woodford, had Rebecca, b. 14 Oct. foll.; Mary, 4 Apr. 1698;
Esther, 7 Aug. 1700; Ann, 26 Jan. 1704; and Elizabeth 8 July 1706. He
had sec. w. Martha North, wid. of Joseph, m. 13 Jan. 1732 and d. 1740.
