GENUKI provides a description of Loddon Hundred from White's History, Gazetteer, and Directory of Norfolk 1845. It includes information about the locality and a table showing the populations of the individual parishes in 1841.

Loddon Hundred stretched 10 miles south from the River Yare with most of its southern boundary being the County of Suffolk and is southeast of the county town of Norwich. Its width is between 5 and 6 miles. Only Loddon and Ditchingham had populations of over 1,000 in 1841.

A map, also from GENUKI, illustrates the locations of the various parishes within the hundred.
