Located inWiltshire, England

Highworth Cricklade and Staple Hundred is more commonly known as "Highworth Hundred" and covers a large area in the northeastern corner of Wiltshire, England. Today the eastern part of the area is the Swindon unitary authority, while the western part is included with the rest of the historic county in the Wiltshire unitary authority. Malmesbury Hundred bordered it on the west, and Kingsbridge Hundred on the south. Its county borders were with Gloucestershire to the north and Berkshire to the east. This western part of Berkshire became Oxfordshire in 1974.

To place the hundred within the county, see Map of the Hundreds of Wiltshire, 1832, a map from HMSO Boundary Commissioners, dated 1832, provided by A Vision of Britain through Time.

Only a part of the Hundred is covered in the Victoria County History for Wiltshire. These will be found in Volume 18.
