FOSTORIA - Wilson A. Park, 79, of 206 Rock St., a retired engineer, died Tuesday evening in Fostoria City Hospital.
He was born March 16, 1904, in Fremont, a son of William A. and Maude (Wilson) Park. He and Lucy Widman were married in November of 1927. She died in March 1954. In April 1958, he married M. Grace Zoller. She died in February 1968.
Surviving . are two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Elizabeth) Zeyen Jr., Fostoria; and Mrs. Jerrold Mary Jane) Redding, Toledo; five sons, William, Parma; James, Aiken, S.C.; Robert, Jack and Richard all of Fostoria: 25 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Opal Smith, Fremont; and Verna Mae Peden, Galipolis; and a brother Owen Hughes of Newark; N.Y.
A daughter and a brother preceded Mr. Park in death.
Mr. Park retired in 1967 as an engineer at the Union Carbide plant in Fostoria. He was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, was a 3rd and 4th degree Knight of Columbus and a member of St. Vincent DePaul Society. He was a former usher at St. Wendelin and a former Scoutmaster.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Wendelin Church, 222 N. Wood St., Fostoria. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Fremont.
Friends may call at the Hoening Funeral Home, 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday where a scripture service will he at 8 that evening.
