  1. He started working for Mennel Milling Company after high school. Jim started as a floor sweeper and was a superintendent of the Mennel Plant in Roanoke, Roanoke Co., VA by the time he left the company in 1978
  2. James A. Park, 62, 1241 W. State St., died Wednesday at Toledo Hospital.
    He was born in Fremont to Wilson and Lucy (Widman) Park and graduated from St. Wendelin High School in 1956. He married Carol A. Koch on April 23, 1960, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, and she survives.
    Mr. Park worked at Mennel Milling Co. in Fostoria and Roanoke Va., for 20 years. While living in Aiken, S.C., he had also worked at Johnston Flour Mill in Johnston, S.C., for five years. He worked for the City of Fremont for nine years.
    He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Fostoria Knights of Columbus.
    Surviving in addition to his wife are daughter Roseanne Reed of Aiken; sons Steve of Fremont, Matt, Dave and Joe, all of Aiken, and Mike of Jessup, Md.; five grandchildren; sisters Elizabeth Zeyen of Fostoria and Mary Jane Reddling of Toledo; and brothers William of Parma, Robert and Richard of Fostoria and Jack of Toledo. He is preceded by his parents, son Christopher and sister Carol Park.
    Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Keller-Ochs-Koch Funeral Home. Wake services: 3:30 p.m.
    Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, St. Joseph Catholic Church.
    Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery.
