Lyman Park NORTH CANTON - Lyman D.W. Park, 59, 263 east Bachtel street, died Friday at 9:30 a.m. in Aultman hospital in Canton, after an illness of three weeks. Mr. Park was employed at the Dental Appliance Co. Before moving to North Canton from Tiffin in 1951, he had been a motion picture projectionist at the Tiffin Drive-In theater. Mr. Park was born August 3, 1912, in Fremont, son of William A. and Maude Wilson Park. He married Leota LaBeau of North Canton in 1937. A member of Zion United Church of Christ, Mr. Park has been active in the church, having served as Sunday School superintendent for many years. He was also a member of his labor union. Surviving are his wife, Leota; his mother, Mrs. Maude Hughes, who resides with a daughter, Mrs. Dallas Peden, 638 north OH avenue, Fremont; brothers, Wilson Park, Fostoria; Melvin Park, Ashland; halfbrother, Owen Hughes, Newark, N.Y.; sisters Mrs. Alvin (Opal) Smith and Mrs. Verna Peden, both of Fremont. His father died when he was three months old. The body is in the Lewis-Karlo funeral home, North Canton. The coffin will be closed. Private funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. in the mortuary. Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Zion United Church of Christ. Burial will be in a North Canton cemetery.
