Obituary

HOLD FUNERAL FOR WILLIAM STRAUSS

  The funeral services for William Strauss, who passed away at the home of his son, Clarence H. Strauss, 36 Henry-st. Thursday at 5 a.m., after a short illness with pneumonia, were held from the late house Saturday at 3 p.m.
   The services were very largely attended and many beautiful floral offerings bore witness to the respect and esteem held for the deceased.
   Pallbearers were William Lewis, John Warmington, Albert Lewis and William Newell.
   Rev. Edwin R. Carter conducted the services.  Burial was made in Edgewood cemetery.
   Many friends and relatives from out of the city attended the rites; among whom were:  Mr. and Mrs. William Newell and son Claude of Pittsburgh;  Mr. and Mrs. William Petrie, Conneaut; Albert Lewis, of Cleveland, and Miss Marjorie Strong of Erie.
