Utica Observer-Dispatch, 27 Apr 1926: WILLIAM CLIFFORD Hinckley, April 27: William Clifford died at his home at Grant Sunday night, following a month's illness. Mr. Clifford had a wide acquaintance here, having often assisted his brother, Thomas Clifford, on his mail route. Mr. Clifford was born 59 years ago at Camden NY and spent much of his life in this vicinity. He is survived by his wife and two children of Grant, a brother, Thomas Clifford, Grant, and a sister Mrs. Anna Skerritt of Camden. Funeral arrangements are incomplete
