Utica Observer-Dispatch, 5 Apr 1928: MRS. ANNA E. SKERRITT Camden, April 5--At her home on the Mexico Road, Tuesday, occurred the death of Mrs. Anna E. Skerritt, widow of John W. Skerritt. Mrs. Skerritt was born in Amboy May 23, 1871, a daughter of William Clifford and Margaret Durgee Clifford. The family had lived in Higginsville, Ava and other places until coming to Camden 14 years ago. She attended the Baptist Church in Hillsboro. She is survived by two daughters, Lena M. and Eva A., both teachers; and one brother, Thomas Clifford of Brant. The funeral will be held at the home, Saturday... and at the Baptist Church... the Rev. C.G. Roop officiating.
