Skerritt passed away Saturday night in a Utica hospital following a short illness. Lena M. Skerritt was born In Amboy March 11, 1897, daughter of the late John W. and Ann C. Skerritt. She was educated in the Camden schools and attended the Methodist Church. She taught school for some time but recently had made her home with her sister Eva who teaches at Panther Lake. Miss Skerritt was highly esteemed by all who knew her and the sympathy of the community is extended to her sister who is the only survivor. References
