"U.S." or "Liss" Braught married #1 Martha (Fizzy or Lizzy) Pickel 15Mar1897 at Madison Co.,IA. #2 marr. "Allie" (a talker). 1955 living near Leon, KS (Grant B. obit.) Bea Romine said that Liss was buried in plot next to his wife #1 (Fizzy) at Leon, KS. She could not recall Allie's vital data or maiden surname. See 20 Feb, 1897 Woodward Photo shop, Winterset, IA photocopy of Frank, Liss, Grant and Esther (provided by Connie McGruder of Neosho, MO 17 July 1997). SSDI# 513-05-8110 gave his death date used here. A letter Oct 31, 1997 from Roy Ulysess Braught included a family group sheet with data: Roy Ulysess Braught, b. 28 May 1951 at Eldorado, KS to Roy William Braught and Maxine Elizabeth Castro (born in Hamilton, KS). Married 1 April 1978 at Miami, OK to Lou Ann Sparks, b. 31 Aug 1954 at Hutchinson, KS to Sylvester Irvin and Thelma Ruby Sparks. They had a daughter Melony Rena Braught b. 30 Mar. 1978 at Newton, KS who married and had a daughter Nikia Raine Ernzen b. 22 Jan. 1997 at Newton, KS. The letter said that his father Roy William Braught was nicknamed R.W., was born somewhere in MO, divorced when he was young, and was killed in an auto accident at MO. in 1974. His mother died of cancer 14 Feb. 1978. He said there is another Roy Braught on the Oklahoma City, OK Police Force (apparently he did not know that man, just heard of him). He said that his grandparents were deceased before he was born. I suspect that this Roy Ulysess Braught does not know he is named after his grandfather (at least not mentioned it).
