Ester Lucretia Braught first married Charlie Vaughn 1905 Oswego,KS. (see Marriage License #1360 obtained at Labette Court House June 18, 1997). That Charlie died of pneumonia 1908. Charlie was Connie (Corbin) McGruder's mother's husband. See also IA.Gen.Soc. records B187 of Apr.1983 reported by Jos. Washington Robinson (note spelling of surname different than my Robison data, and realize that he must have submitted data before his 1959 death). Family notes and grave stone clearly spelled Robison. 1997 data from dau. Bea considered more accurate. Notes of Connie McGruder interview with Esther's daughter Hazel are consistent with data from Esther's daughter Bea and several genealogical or legal sources researched.

See photo of Ester and husband #2 Joseph provided 20 July 1997 by Bea Romine during our 4 hrs. visit with her at her Wichita, KS home.
See Ester's Cassville, MO obituary given to me by Connie McGruder: " Esther L. Robinson, 98, Wichita, KS, mother of Earl Vaughn died early Wed. at the Catholic Center of Aged, where she had been a patient for several months. She was born Mar. 16, 1882 in Winterset, IA and was longtime resident of Mineral Springs, KS (error, should have been MO, and Connie corrected in on the obit), before she moved to Wichita in 1969 after the death of her husband, Joe Robinson [note: I show Joe died 1959]. Other survivors include three daughters: Mrs. Beatrice Romine and Mrs. Inez Allison, both of Wichita and Mrs. Hazel Corbin, Eagle Rock. Seven grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Rev. Jess Higgs officiating at Axley's Culver Chapel. Burial at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cassville".

See other photos of these familes given to me in 1997 by Connie McGruder or Bea Romine.
