Grant Braught married rather late (about age 40) to Ollie Canny, had son, Earl, at Oswego, KS (Earl never married). Oswego City Cem. records show Grant G. Braught b. 1879 and d. 1955 (but other records in this cem. report are known to be incorrect - also). See cemetery stone photos and data taken there 17 Jul 1997. See photocopied photos of Grant G. and Ollie given by Connie Corbin McGruder. Also obit. for Grant G. Braught, born Nov. 22, 1879 at Winterset, IA and died April 2, 1955 at Oswego, KS. Former resident of Barry County, living at Mineral Springs, he was survived by his widow Ollie, and one son Earl Braught. A brother, U.S. Braught of Leon, KS , and sister, Mrs. Joe Robison of Cassville, MO. Services at Oswego Cemetery were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Joe Robison from Barry County, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Vaughn from Cassville, and Mrs. Earl Corbin from Eagle Rock.

Grant G. should have WWI Draft Registration data.
