Born August 6, 1900 in Huntington, Utah to Martin Riley and Harriet A. Peterson Pierce. Married John Edgar Johnson in Price December 26, 1921; later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Longtime resident of Carbon County. She loved working in her yard and making things grow. She had a deep love for her family and will be dearly missed by them.

(Step) Johnson, Price; Faye Woodward, Kearns; Ruth Johnson, California; Geraldine (Geri) Piccioni, American Fork; Scott R. Johnson, Colorado; 21 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by brother, Claude Pierce, Carbonville; and sisters, Ada Neubert, Provo; and Elda Throckmorton, Payson. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 19, 11 a.m., Helper Stake Center. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price, and one hour prior to services at the church. Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. in the Valley View Memorial Park Cemetery, SLC.

Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Scott R. Johnson, age 63, passed away February 28, 1999 at LDS Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born September 14, 1935 in Consumers, Utah, son of John Edgar and Tressie Ann Pierce Johnson. Married Patricia Raye Jones May 28, 1955 in Kenilworth, Utah; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active member of the LDS Church. Scott enjoyed fishing, camping, and gardening. Following his retirement from AT&T, he and his family enjoyed raising his four grandsons: Josh, 19; Joe, 18; Matt, 15; Cory, 10.
