She was born May 21, 1909, in Giles, Wayne Co., Utah to Martin Riley Pierce and Harriet Ann Peterson.
On May 25, 1927, she married Erhard Max (Harvey) Neubert in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They lived for 29 years in Graeagle, California from 1928 to 1957. In 1957, they moved to Provo, Utah where she lived until 1997.
On September 27, 1958 she began working in Food Services at Brigham Young University. She worked there until her retirement in May 1974. After leaving her home, she lived with a granddaughter for a short period and then with her daughter. In 1999 she became a resident at Manor Care.
Words cannot express the love and gratitude we feel for the dear persons at Manor Care who made Mom's last years and moments so pleasant and comfortable. We thank you.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. For many years she was a member of the Provo 19th Ward. She loved to teach and taught Sunday School for 25 years. She served as a Stake Missionary in the Reno Nevada Stake for four years.
She always said that she had the best of both worlds as she grew up on the desert and spent her married years in the mountains. She had many interests and always had beautiful flower beds. She always loved to read, especially the scriptures. She enjoyed talking about her family and descendants and collected many family histories. When asked her main interest she replied, "I love being with my family". To the very end she loved having big groups of family around.
