Ripley Co., IN Will book B, pg 38, dated 19-Jul-1843, recorded 26-Aug-1843. Ripley Co., IN Probate book C, pg 30, 13-May-1844 lists Eleanor SPENCER, wife, executrix.

Maybe the Thomas SPENCER whose purchase of land is recorded in tract book 1, pg 35 on 2-Jun-1817. He may also have purchased land which is recorded in Ripley Co., IN Deed book c, pg 190. Purchased with land patent certificate #1349 and he was living in Jefferson Co., IN at the time of purchase.

Located in 1820, 30 & 40 census (IN, Ripley). Also located Eleanor and younger three children in 1850 census (IN, Ripley).
