Thomas C. Dugger was not named in the 29 Jan 1823 Will of his father Richmond Dugger for some reason. He was named in an 1835 Brunswick Co., VA Court case which stated he was a child of Richmond Dugger.

On 10 Oct 1832 Thomas C. Dugger married Mary Clark in Mecklenburg Co., VA. Her mother Sarah Clark gave her consent.

They are listed on the 1840 census in Mecklenburg Co., VA. Analysis:

  • 1 male 30-39 (1800/1810)=Thomas C. Dugger (1800/1810)

I was unable to find them on the 1850 census. Perhaps they had died by then, or were simply missed by the census taker.
