1864 Jan. 21, Mason, Warren Co., OH. Jennie's cousin, Ada Wyckoff wrote their cousin Tighlman Jones: "I got a letter from Jennie Wilkinson last week / she said that her brother Evan was working in a ranch at thirty dollars a month. He had better be working for uncle Sam."

Ada Wyckoff wrote her cousin Jane Love: "I received a letter from Sidney J Wilkinson written the day before they started [for California]. / She was anticipating so much pleasure on the trip / I fear they will be disappointed / The Indians are so bad on the plains."

Sarah Belle Wilkinson wrote her cousin Jane Love: "Pap myself & only sister that lives in Texas [Minerva] went to Mo to see our oldest sister* / she moved there a bout a year a go / I had not saw her for more than eleven years / we was not gon but two weeks / we had a very pleasant visit / Pap went to St Louis to the fair & we went a (?)l part of the way a lone / they did not know us."

Isaac & Jennie Gregg were enumerated in Polk Co., MO, in 1900; in 1910, Jennie was a widow living with her son Pearl in Polk Co., MO, and lived in Denton Co., TX, with her sister, Bird Helm, in 1920.

Jennie Wilkinson Gregg: got her obit; very short. Died in 1926, but didn't mention her husband or Alvord (see later). Was 86 when she died. "She is survived by four children, who were unable to be present for the funeral, and by three sisters." Didn't find an Isaac Gregg, although a W.B. Gregg was listed, but his dates were the same as the next person listed, Isaac Gregory. (Another W.B. Gregg had a will probated in 1889.) Isaac Gregory's obit says his niece, Mrs. W.A.
