Moses Wilkinson, born in New Town, Indiana, Oct. 17, 1943 [sic], died Fairplay, MO May 23, 1913, went to Iowa with parents quite young and lived there until 1865, then to California till 1871. Returned to Kansas City, then to Stephenville, Texas. He then moved to Calif. From Calif. to Troy, Iowa. In 1877, he married Angeline Downing and settled in Halfway, MO (Polk County), then Fairplay a year later. 1 son (Earl), 1 brother (S. Wilkinson), and 5 sisters. He was the 4th child of 11 children.
