From Robert Tevis (Tivis), His Parents, His Siblings, and His Progeny by Nancy Pearrer Lesure

Although no marriage record has been found, there is good evidence that she is the Susannah who married Joseph Wells, brother of Francis. The births of a son and three daughters, including a Marget Wells, appear in the records of St. Thomas' Parish. The earliest birth date is 29 March 1762, suggesting a 1761 marriage.

Assuming that Susannah Wells was indeed the daughter of Robert Tevis -- and I believe her to be -- there is an odd discrepancy in her father's 1796 will, for Susannah Wells, wife of Joseph, died 24 November 1769.
