From Beverly Roberts, bitteroot@@prodigy.net : "1 BIO:Sarah Jane is listed in Ga Wills 1733- 1850 under Thomas B Wozencraft #1852, Clarke Co Will Book C page 185. She was apparently only 7 at the time. It is possible that she is the Sarah Jane mentioned in James Lawrence's diary as being home with his children in Rehobothville, Morgan County, Georgia in 1866 when he left his wife Sarah Snelling dying while he found work in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia. If this is her she would have been 39. 1860 census Clarke County Georgia, Athens post office lists Sarah I Wozencraft at age 30; this is too old to be James Lawrence's daughter. Her occupation is teacher."
