    10. Samuel [Paxton] - son of 6 [Thomas Paxton] - b. 1748, d. 1807 - m. (1) Sarah Coalter, (2) Jane Smiley - C [Children] (all by 1st w [wife][??]): William (b. 1803, d. 1879, m. Sarah P. Burks), Frances J. (son), Agnes A. (m. Alfred Douglass), Hannah E. (m. William Crawford, 1829). Note: it appears that Morton actually listed the wrong children for Samuel Paxton. Other sources have most of these as children of Samuel's brother William Paxton. They also would have been born too late to have been children of Samuel and his first wife Sarah Coulter, who died in 1784. More research needed.
