On 29 Jun 1794 John Dugger Sr deeded 179 acres to Sampson Dugger for L100. Witnessed by John Dugger Jr, Edwin Fort and James Dugger. (Brunswick Co., VA Deed Book 17 page 448).

In Dec 1794 court, Sampson Dugger, Isham Rainey, John Dugger and John Bennett, or any three of them, were ordered to appraise the estate of Thomas Firth, deceased. (Brunswick Co., VA Order Book 16 page 341).

James and Sampson Dugger were listed on the 1795 land tax list in Brunswick Co., VA with 200 acres. He was not on the personal property list so probably already living in NC.

On 30 May 1795 John Dugger Sr of Brunswick Co., VA sold 50 acres to Sampson Dugger of Northampton Co., NC for L30. The land was on Gravelly Run and Spring Branch. Witnessed by John Rawlings, Daniel Dugger and Edwin Fort. (Brunswick Co., VA Deed Book 16 page 113).

James and Sampson Dugger were listed on the 1796 land tax list in Brunswick Co., VA with 200 acres.

The 1797, 1798 and 1799 land tax lists show Sampson Dugger with 200 acres, 50 acres and 50 acres. He was listed as “Jr” in 1797 and 1798.

In Sep 1799 court, the deed of John Dugger to Sampson Dugger was proven by in court by the witnesses James Dugger, John Dugger Jr and Edwin Fort. (Brunswick Co., VA Order Book 18 page 190).

Sampson Dugger was listed on the 1800 Brunswick Co., VA land tax list with 50 acres.

On 21 Aug 1800 Sampson Dugger of Hancock Co., GA sold 197 acres to William Davis of Brunswick Co.,VA for L197. (Brunswick Co., VA Deed Book 18 page 25).

In 1810 court, Sampson Dugger, administrator of Henry Rawlings, deceased, sued Robert and Willie Harrison, executors of James Harrison, deceased. (Brunswick Co., VA Order Book 24 page 63).

Sampson Dugger is not listed anywhere on the 1810 census. This census was lost for Georgia which is probably where he was.

Sampson Dugger is listed on an 1812 tax list in Hancock Co., GA.

In Nov 1813 court, Sampson Dugger, administrator of Henry Rawlings, deceased, sued Robert and Willie Harrison, executors of James Harrison, deceased. (Brunswick Co., VA Order Book 25 page 432).
