... buried in Chariton Cemetery, Chariton, Iowa. Also, Myrtle M., 1875-1879; and Palmer T., 1825-1899, brother of Hezekiah, are buried there. I don't know who Myrtle's parents were.


The assumption has always been that his name was Palmer T. Scovel, but military records show he was Palmer F. Scovel.
