    "I, Jacob Sawatzky, was born Feb. 6, 1839 at 6 a.m., in Russia. My wife,Maria Sawatzky, was born Feb. 3, 1840. We were married Aug. 14, 1859...
    ...In 1886, my wife Maria passed away, Sept. 21st. She had been sick in bed for 31 weeks, 2 days. She lived 48 years, 3 weeks, 2 days. She was buried Sept. 23rd with 44 families attending the funeral.

    "In 1887, I, Jacob Sawatzky, married Helena Kaunnon..."
