Margaret married Robert Cundall on the 12th of March, 1763 In Kirkby Malzeard near Ripon, North Yorkshire. The wedding was witnessed by Thomas Robinson and Robert Raper.

Margaret and Robert lived in Swetton, Kirkby Malzeard and had six children together, three daughters and three sons. Their first child, Ellen, born in 1766, is shown in Parish registers to have died the following year. Their second daughter was also given the name Ellen, presumably in her memory. All together Margaret and Robert had 26 grandchildren.

Margaret died at the age of 72 in 1811 in Lunterstone, Kirkby Malzeard.  She was buried on Tuesday 9 April 1811 in St Andrews Church. .
