    Justus is the third child of Stephen & Ruth Webster. He married Susannah Littlefield abt 1817, the daughter of Josiah & Eunice (Hunt) Littlefield. He and his brother, Truman left New York for Michigan in the Spring of 1836. They settled in Monroe county. They each owned 40 acres in Exeter township. The Littlefield family moved to Monroe county also. Justus & Susannah farmed in Exeter Twp for many years. Justus died in 1852 & Susannah in 1880. I have the obit written at her death. These Monroe County Websters are the Ingham County Websters' closest cousins, location-wise.

    Tax assessment rolls for 1845 & 1846 show Justus owning land in Exeter Twp. In 1845 his 40 acres was valued at $150 and he paid $4.26 in tax.

    1830 Census for Oneida County, NY Roll #99 p.100 Justus Webster head of household of four...3males/1female. Justus & Susannah & Ashel 12 & Porter 2. The ages are correct.

    1840 Census for Exeter Twp, Monroe Co.,MI p.346 Justus Webster family of 3. Males age 10-15(Porter is 12) & age 40-50(Justus is 47) and one female age 30-40(Susanna is 43) his brother, Truman, is close by & so is his older son, Asahel and his family.

    1850 Census for Exeter Twp, Monroe Co.,MI Roll #358 p.416 Justus Webster, 57, b.NY, farmer, real estate worth $400, and his wife, Susannah, 52, b.NY & son, Porter, 22, b.NY, farm labor. They had a 12yr old girl working as a servant living with them. His son Asahel's family is close by.

    Letters of Administration(p.188) issued on Aug 21, 1856 to Susannah Webster in the estate of Justice(sic) Webster, late of Exeter, Monroe, MI, who died intestate.

    Justus Webster b. Nov 13, 1890( typo-has to be 1790) d. 5-8-1852. His wife is with him Grafton Cemetery is in Ash Twp on Sigler Rd about 4/10 mi West of Grafton Rd. There are 13 Websters at this cemetery. 8 of them are together with one stone which is broken and one side cannot be read. Genealogy had him born in 1793.
