Gail, John Ledgerwood III husband of Eleanor Newman was my 4xgreat grandfather from VA. His children were Joseph, David, Margaret, Samuel, William, James and Nathaniel. I am a relation of Joseph thru his son Joseph thru his daughter Clara Belle (Ledgerwood)Metcalf. I would love to know more about John. All I have is b. 1806 VA.
