Acquisition of Land from Chalkley's:
- Page 282.--18th May, 1784. John Cowman of first part, and 8-12, acres of land for a church or Presbyterian Meeting House or school house in the county aforesaid and the congregation thereto belonging of the other part, part of the plantation where John now lives in Beverley Manor.
