(Research):Lewis, James Brown Born: 17 Sep 1818, Alabama Religion: Baptist. He was probably a member of Little Meramec Church in Lonede ll and possibly later of the Oak Grove church in Lonedell , where his brother William Perry Lewis and his wife are bu ried, along with at least two of his own granddaughters. 1st married: 25 Nov 1844, Lonedell, Franklin Co., MO, to An n Marie Falwell. Mrs. Ann Mariah Musick and James B. Lewi s of Franklin Co., Mo. married on 25 November 1844 by Joh n Q. Dickeson, Justice of the County Court at Franklin Co. , Mo. She was the widow of Haliard Musick. 2nd married: 2 Jun 1870, to Sarah F. Logan, who was probabl y a widow. This marriage produced no children. James B. Lewis and Sarah F. Logan married on 2 June 1870 b y Wm. T. O. Dickinson, Minister of the M. E. Church South a t Franklin Co., Mo. Died: 3 Jan 1903, Herculaneum, Jeffers on Co., MO. Aged 84. Buried in the Johnson family cemetery , near Lonedell, Franklin Co., MO. His tombstone is in exce llent condition, a low block style with the inscriptions o n the top side, made of grey granite or marble. This very s mall cemetery (no more than a dozen or so tombstones, count ing crudely shaped rocks evidently used to mark graves, tho ugh perhaps twice as many burials). It is located off of Hi ghway N north from Lonedell near Lake Arrowhead. It is on t he top of a ridge behind their house. They had one child, Marvel Musick, b.c. 1843 in Frankli n Co., MO. Died: 22 Aug 1869, Lonedell, Franklin County, M O. Aged 43 years. Buried next to husband James in the Johns on family cemetery, Lonedell, Franklin Co., MO. She has a w orn, old-fashioned thin, upright tombstone of soft white st one. The inscription is on the front. Her parents are ver y likely buried in this same small cemetery. Her sister Mar y F. Johnson, wife of Thomas J. Johnson, is buried there. Ann was still unmarried when her father wrote his will i n Sep 1840. Haliard was appointed administrator of her fath er?s estate in Sep 1843. Their son Marvel was named after H aliard?s brother, Marvel M. Musick. Haliard wrote his wil l on 13 Oct 1843: ?My only son, Marvel L. Musick, the far m on which I now reside.
