(Research):5. Lewis, William W. b.c. 1854, Lonedell, Frankl in Co., MO [named for uncle]; m. 29 Apr 1873, to Eliza Jane McKay; d . 1888. William was known by his children to have died shor tly after deserting the family in 1888 [source: Mrs. Fern H unt.] The 1958 Lewis Family book says he `disappeared in th e late 1800s.` William listed on 1880 census living in Prairie Township, F ranklin Co., MO, with his wife and the following children: 1) Adaline b.c. 1876, Franklin Co., MO; m. ______ Manion an d had children. 2) Etta J. b.c. 1878, Franklin Co., MO; m. _______ Partne y and had children. 3) William b. 1880 (1 mo. old) , Franklin Co., MO -- The 1958 Lewis Family book also lists: 4) Samuel 5) James Silas had children. 6) Winnie m. _______ Partney and had children. 7) Lillie 8) Mary m.
