Most of the families listed either settled or traveled through Saint Louis, Missouri. These ancestors left behind families, homes, and lives they had known to seek better opportunities in the United States. Many fought in wars at home and abroad, worked in factories and farms, enduring main types of labor, and were proud to be able to call themselves Americans.

The main surnames I am researching include:

Young Person:Virginia Young (2)

Torbitt Person:Lee Torbitt (1)

Tucker Person:Lillian Tucker (1)

Many other family names are listed and can be found in the Family Tree List.
