Henry Lawless was one of 5 men who went with Dr. Thomas Walker to explore new Virginia land. Their exploration touched part of present day Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia and Virginia but was all Virginia in 1750. All of the material is available online. Henry was later killed on the Jackson river in 1757 during the French and Indian wars along with a host of others.
