George and Nina are on the 1900 Census in Pinckney Village, Putnam Twp, page 188a, house 74/78. George's occupation is Barber. There is another George Green living in Green Oak Twp, Livingston, MI married to a lady named Ida. This family has the son Charles who is buried in Howell. Do not confuse the two families!

Howell--George F Green 89 of Lansing, a former Howell barber and village president at Pinckney, died Monday at a Lansing convalescent home. He was born April 8, 1867 at Pinckney, the son of Albert B. and Florilla Fargo Green and was married to Nina Winegar of Howell. She preceded him in death. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Clare Burden of Lansing and a sister, Mrs. Wealtha Vail of Horton. Funeral services will be held Thursday at the Schnackenberg funeral home with Rev. J. Cardwell Prout officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview cem. here under the auspice of the Howell Masonic Lodge.
