From Barb Porter Ogg

My great-great grandmother was Julia Winegar (born May 15, 1854 in Livingston County, MI), and I believe she was the sister of Amos Winegar, the father of Nina A. Winegar who is listed on your Green family genealogy of the World Connect Project. I have been looking at an old photo album that came through my mom's family and I have a very nice, but small, photo of Amos and Carrie Winegar. It is written on the back "Uncle Amos and Aunt Carrie Winegar" The photographer was N.P. Jenson, Howell, Michigan. I would guess that the picture is from about 1875 or thereabouts. They are a nice looking young couple.

... I don't have very much information on the family of Oren Hoffman Winegar and Eliza Jane Platt, parents of Amos and Julia. I believe that there were several other children in the family, but I don't know the names of all of them yet.
