POTTS Amboy--Fred C. Potts died suddenly at his home Friday after suffering a heart attack. He lived his entire life in the Town of Amboy and was the son of DeWill and Cora Collins Potts. He was a member of the Methodist church. Mr. Potts was well known in the area as a mason-carpenter, having built many camps on Panther Lake. Lately, he was employed at the Presbytery Camp Glengarra as a builder. Surviving are two sisters, Miss Ruth F. Potts, at home, and Mrs. Claud Bisbo, Panther Lake; a brother, Frank E., White Plains. Funeral services were held from his home Monday... with the Rev. Ernest W. Bittner, pastor of the Presbyterian (United) Church, Camden, officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery, Parish. The estate is valued at more than $15,000 real and more than $9,000 personal. A sister of the testator, Ruth F. Potts of RD 1, Camden, has life use of the estate without limitation and upon her death that which remains is to go to James and Clarence Webb of Syracuse, formerly of Panther Lake. References
