After marrying Nathan Sparks, the Sallie DeWitt 1981 Genealogy states she lived in Durant, Oklahoma and then Clovis, New Mexico. Her father, Richard Columbus Vest, lived with her in New Mexico until she died. He then moved back to Cecil, Arkansas to live with his youngest child, Montie Paul Vest. According to the Sallie DeWitt 1981 Genealogy, she died of a cancerous tumor of the stomach. The document also states she is interred at "Lot 31, Block 23, Section 2" (which is presumably a location in a graveyard in Clovis, New Mexico).
