A tombstone at the Lowe's Creek Cemetery lists "A.L. son of R.C & E.A.E. Vest" with dates of births and death. This is most likely the A. Leon Vest listed int he Sallie DeWitt 1981 Genealogy, on page 76F. The tombstone inscription says, "A.L. son of R.C & E.A.E. Vest, born Aug. 11, 1895, died Aug. 13, 1898; Sleep on sweet babe and take thy rest. God calls away when he thinks best."
