In 2001 while checking Catholic church records in Gaylord I came across a death record with Holderied in the margin and Louise Mier, age 43, with Frank Holdried listed in body of this record. I really believe this must be Elizabeth death record. I have found records listing a daughter of Frank Holderied named Louise Smith (married name) in Alpena in 1943. Maybe the child's name was listed instead of the mother's. In August I went to visit St. Joe's in West Branch and Father Bob helped me. He said that this was for sure the wife of Francis Holdereid but she was written down as Louise Mier and that she was buried on the same lot as William and Regina Mier. I went to the cemetery and there is not a marker.
