Edward Newborn was baptised on 7th July 1717 at Barnack in Northamptonshire, son of Ann Newborn, formerly Algate, and her husband Edward Newborn. There is a fair chance young Edward was the Edward Newborn who married Mary Rowell in Stamford Baron in 1742, but this has yet to be proven.
